A vacancy has arisen forthree full time Deckhands/Able Seafarers at PD Ports within our Marine Team as part of the Dredger/Workboat/Buoy Service fleet.
Location:
Marine Department, Middlesbrough, TS2 1LX.Working Arrangements:
162.5 Hours per month, 12.5-hour shifts, week on/week off shift rotation (no planned nightshifts).The five main things our Deckhands/Able Seafarers will be working on are:
Mooring and unmooring of vessel and navigational watch-keeping duties.
Maintenance of deck equipment and vessel housekeeping.
Operation of dredge equipment and assisting with bunkering and watering of vessel.
Providing relief cover between PD fleet of vessels and providing support and resource to the OPRC function as required
Assisting with planned maintenance items whilst always adhering to the companies H&S and environmental compliance.
We are seeking someone who:
Hold a Navigational Watch Rating Certificate, a mandatory requirement.
Engine Room Watch Rating Certificate (desirable).
Holds a Eng1 Medical Certificate.
Is a strong team player.
Has good communication skills.
