The HR Manager's purpose is to provide project management of a variety of HR projects as required and be the main point of contact for all ship-based HR requirements from our crew.


The HR Manager position is required to hold the below;


Certification;

GCSE (A to C grades) in Maths & English Intermediate level in Word, Excel & Powerpoint Advanced level in Word, Excel & Powerpoint A-VI/1 Basic Training A-V/2 Crisis Management and Human behaviour Seafarer Record Book (National, Flag State or Other) Yellow Fever Covid Vaccination Seafarers' Medical Passport



Experience;

Experience in Rank Held similar rank in previous company Cruise Experience in same or lower Rank Cruise Ship Experience Experience in delivering training/presentations Experience in developing training material and presentations



Knowledge and ability;

Public speaking / presentations Proficient understanding of relevant conventions (STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC etc.) Fluent of English communication - spoken and written Staff Training HR skills, appraisals, PDP's etc Good HR management. Able to conduct appraisals and implement development plans if required Organisational skills Excellent communication skills Ability to follow policies and procedures Team Player Proficient Presenter Speak in front of a group Good personal Time Management Successful conflict handling & problem solving Polite, approachable, flexible and cheerful Caring and wanting to help Ability to influence & build rapport



Candidates must have relevant industry experience in a similar position.




In return, you will receive a competitive salary and a 2:2 work rotation of 2 months on board followed by 2 months of leave.
