Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and motivated team member to join our team. As a Dental Decontamination Nurse, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the practice's decontamination rooms and assisting the dentists and dental nurses in collecting and delivering dental instruments, running daily test cycles through all our sterilisation equipment and ensuring a smooth and high quality decontamination and sterilisation process is maintained. Your expertise and knowledge will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Duties

Running daily checks on our sterilisation equipment Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment Taking charge of the daily sterilisation and decontamination of dental instruments and equipment. Assisting the clinicians and nurses by retrieving and delivering instruments to them throughout the day. Keeping up to date with current decontamination guidelines and legislations
Skills & Qualifications

Candidates will be required to undertake in house training and maintain their knowledge with regular updates and courses Good organisational skills, ability to work within a small team is essential We are looking for a friendly and bubbly individual with an ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and work to a consistently high standard, who is able to work closely within our team.
Please note that a Hep B immunisation is required for this role. This would be ideal for an ex dental nurse looking at getting back into dentistry.
