We're looking for a



Delegated Underwriting Authority Assistant



Based in London and reporting to the Head of Delegated Underwriting Authority, the successful candidate will support the Delegated Underwriting Department with various administrative and oversight tasks to ensure strong oversight of the Delegated book.







Hamilton Global Specialty is our multi-platform, specialty insurer operating primarily through a Lloyd's Syndicate and Dublin operating company with a managing general agency in the US.





What you will do



Act as a user for Intrali VIPR (Bordereaux management system) and liaise closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate mapping and data oversight Assist with the resolution of bordereaux queries via communication with Underwriters and Brokers Chase underwriting divisions for outstanding bordereaux and ensure bordereaux is tracked and recorded accurately Assist the Head of DUA with ongoing Coverholder compliance via the monitoring of the Atlas and internal systems Review and approve lead binding authorities on Lloyd's DCOM Assist the DUA Audit manager with various audit administration tasks and data entry into internal systems Assist the DUA Audit manager with communication with external auditors, confirming audit dates and ensuring timely receipt of audit reports Assist the DUA Audit manager with underwriting visit scheduling and obtaining completed reports from Underwriters

What you require for the role



Good Attention to detail with strong numerical skills and with some knowledge of the Lloyd's market Knowledge of insurance. Experience of working in the Lloyd's Market/ Lloyd's systems or a delegated authority environment would be preferable but not mandatory Understanding coverholder management systems such as VIPR and Lloyd's delegated underwriting systems and platforms is desirable but not mandatory Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Ability to work without supervision Good team player & Self-motivated Capable of working to a deadline when required Open, innovative and inclusive mindset Collaborative spirit
