Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of products from our Hot Food and Cold Serve. You will play a key role in ensuring food safety standards are met and that our customers receive high-quality food items in a timely manner.

Duties

Prepare and serve deli items to the store specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist customers with their selections and show proficiency in allergen information. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure product availability. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen environment.

Skills

Culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure high-quality standards are maintained. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively and work collaboratively with team members. A proactive attitude towards helping others and providing outstanding service.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
