Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. You will play a vital part in ensuring that our customers have a pleasant shopping experience by maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and serve deli items while adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional products when appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli counter and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment. Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain Barista Area - Replenish stock and keep are clean and organised.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or kitchen setting is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly rapport with customers. A culinary background or interest in food is beneficial for this role. Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and work collaboratively with team members.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8.5 - 42.5 per week
