Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, with a strong focus on quality and food safety. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli products while ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve deli items in accordance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling products when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours while managing time effectively. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure fresh products are always available. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, showcasing familiarity with food preparation and safety practices. Culinary experience is an advantage but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
