Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food production and service during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Support menu planning and development to enhance the deli offerings. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while handling food products. Participate in catering events as required, showcasing culinary skills in various settings.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, including roles in food preparation or cooking. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Culinary experience or fine dining background is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.
