Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. Duties

Assist customers by taking orders and providing recommendations on deli products. Prepare a variety of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, including equipment and utensils. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with inventory management. Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation or restaurant experience. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Ability to work in a kitchen environment, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork. Strong communication skills to engage with customers and colleagues positively.

Pay: 12.21-12.61 per hour
