We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to oversee the daily operations of our deli department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service and products. Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the deli team, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of customer service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices in all aspects of food production.
Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, hospitality skills, and customer service excellence.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health regulations.
Requirements
Proven supervisory experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Previous experience in hospitality or kitchen environments is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both customers and team members.
