With stores in Longborough (HQ), Thame, Hereford and Alton, we offer over 20,000 products, from nuts and bolts to fencing and large animal handling systems.

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team in Alton. This position will be well suited to someone who takes pride in their driving and people skills. You will be playing an important role in managing StowAg's logistics, so we are looking for individuals who are willing to go the extra mile. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills to form relationships with internal staff and customers.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate one of our Class Two lorries to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. A good ambassador for the StowAg brand both on and off site/farm. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Supporting warehouse and sales staff where necessary. Daily maintenance checks on the vehicle and reporting any issues/problems to the appropriate staff member. Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and presentable. Loading and unloading goods. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage. Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time. Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card. Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation. Knowledge of local region. Positive attitude to customer and team members alike. Clean driving licence. Physically fit. Work well in a team. Want to assist in building the business by providing all of the above.

Desirable:

Forklift licence Manual handling and working from height training (full training will be provided during induction).

Pay: 30,000.00-34,500.00 per year
