Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
- MUST HAVE OCCASIONAL WEEKEND AVAILABILITY
MINIMUM 3 DAYS A WEEK
Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks when necessary, including stock organisation and inventory management.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 Year's driving experience Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes Experience driving large vans is essential Experience in delivery is desirable especially with bulky items 7.5 Tonne license is advantageous but not needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 100.00-120.00 per day
