We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers. This position requires physical stamina, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Accountabilities
Ensure efficient and safe delivery of customer orders within assigned routes and timeframes.
Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care.
Complete all delivery documentation accurately and legibly.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
Report any issues, delays, or discrepancies to your immediate Supervisor.
Ensure all breakages, spillages, or damaged goods are reported and handled in line with Company procedures.
Maintain high standards of customer service during every delivery.
Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures relating to Health and Safety and safe driving practices.
Undertake any other duties as required by your Manager to meet the needs of the business.
Willingness to work and earn overtime when required.
Requirements
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Full, clean driving licence.
Strong manual handling skills, including the ability to lift up to 25 kg.
Good knowledge of local routes and basic navigation tools (GPS, apps, etc.).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
