We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to all safety regulations. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is an advantage. Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various road conditions. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
