At Natural Treats Bristol we are currently looking for a highly motivated, determined and committed Delivery Driver to join our team - Full time position Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely manner. Knowledge of Google maps, route planning and Bristol postcodes essential.

Duties

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Attention to detail. Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured and protected during transit.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Navigate efficiently to various locations using maps or GPS systems. Route planning using Google maps.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages encountered during transport.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

What will the job be?

Your role will be to assist the store team to maximise the potential of the store by providing exceptional customer service and promoting the products we sell.

Assisting with click and collects. Loading van with your deliveries. Delivering customer orders around Bristol in a work van. Van maintenance. Picking orders, and packing them for our online side of the business. Must be able to operate in a cold store, as raw feeders, we have extra large freezers, where our stock is kept. Helping customers with their questions and queries. Inclusive of the business needs, but not limited to just these jobs.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Experience with heavy lifting and handling of goods is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations will be beneficial in this position.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Rate of pay:

12.75 per hour, raising to 13.00 after probation time, annual pay review and a generous 30% staff discount.
