Responsibilities

:

Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption. Ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with team for daily store work.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving procedures. Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type, including a clean driving record. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple deliveries. Knowledge of local roads and navigation systems is advantageous.
