Delivery Driver
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload packages and products from the van
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to drive a commercial vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and carrying packages up to a certain weight limit
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
