Grill Plug Cambridge is looking for a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. You'll be responsible for delivering freshly prepared food orders to customers across Cambridge, ensuring every delivery is on time, accurate, and handled with care. The ideal candidate will have great driving skills, a friendly attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws and company guidelines.
Collect, load, and deliver food orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and quality on arrival.
Handle cash or card payments where required and maintain accurate delivery records.
Communicate with the restaurant team regarding delivery timings or any potential delays.
Provide a positive and professional experience for every customer, representing Grill Plug Cambridge at all times.
Experience
Previous experience as a delivery driver, particularly in food delivery, is an advantage.
A valid UK driving licence is essential.
Good local knowledge of Cambridge is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
