Delivery Driver
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van (Mercedes Sprinter) to transport goods to customers.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, good time keeping.
- Load and unload products from the van at each delivery location
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect payments from customers, if required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions. - Ability to work with little supervision. - Fork lift training preferred. - Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clear work environment.
Experience:
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers
- Ability to drive and operate a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some deliveries may involve large or bulky items
- Valid UK driving license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.58 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
