About us

A. Diamond & Son started out as a sawmill in 1939. Over the years, we have grown and expanded to manufacture a number of timber products. All our products are of the highest quality and are pressure treated. We remain a family-run business to this day.

We can provide a range of products and structures for your garden and landscaping needs, from fencing and gates to garden arches.

We are currently looking for an individual to join our retail team to deliver around Northern Ireland and at times to assist customers in our yard when needed. Depending on the candidate we can offer part time or full time hours at this time. Pay rate is dependent on experience.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Fridays 08:30 - 16:00

Job description

The role will involve

- Delivering orders to customers using company lorry

- direct contact with customers as part of deliveries and in our retail yard

- Operating yard forklift to load lorry; maintaining yard stock; loading customer orders and assisting with supplier deliveries

A fair degree of fitness is required.

Essential:

Full, clean License. HGV Class 2 / Category C licence Up to Date CPC training Experience of driving lorry Good geographical knowledge of NI Excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. An approachable and friendly manner Flexibility is required for this role.

Pay: From 14.50 per hour
