We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for upon receipt Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times Assist in warehouse activities when not on the road, including stock organisation and inventory checks

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as lorries or vans Previous warehouse experience is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Strong organisational skills for route planning and time management Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times
