Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver goods to designated locations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securement during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour when interacting with clients and team members.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record or no more than 6 points. Experience with commercial driving vehicles, including vans or lorries. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling goods or equipment. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently. Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving. Prior experience in warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential. This role offers an engaging work environment where organisational skills, safe driving practices, and excellent customer service are highly valued. Preferably own van (ideal but not essential)

Pay: 160.00-180.00 per day

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
