Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all products. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required during loading and unloading. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus.
