Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Navigate efficiently to delivery locations using GPS or maps. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including heavy lifting and inventory management.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. A valid driver licence is required; commercial driving experience is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
