Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Delivery Driver to join our small, friendly team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting chairs, cushions and sofas we've repaired (as part of a 2-man team) to various locations around Edinburgh and Central Scotland while ensuring timely and safe delivery.

With flexible hours (you can choose AM or PM and length of shift preferred), this role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload chairs and cushions, ensuring everything loaded safely. Deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, although not essential. A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is essential; although our vehicle is a standard panel van - experience driving larger vehicles or commercial driving is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
