Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods/Appliances safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the smooth operation of our logistics network. Candidates should possess a valid driver licence and have previous experience in delivery or commercial driving. A clean driving record and good communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Deliver goods to clients and customers within designated timeframes, ensuring accuracy of orders Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when required Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly Follow health and safety protocols at all times during deliveries

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles Valid driver licence with a clean driving record Experience with warehouse operations and handling heavy loads is advantageous Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Strong organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and meet deadlines Good knowledge of local roads and navigation systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of safety and service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
