Hampton Hill Pharmacy is a long-standing independent community pharmacy, which works closely with its sister pharmacy in Hampton Hill - Health On The Hill. We supply NHS and private prescription medicines to our local patients, and deliver medicines to certain patients who can't collect them from the pharmacies.
We provide a friendly professional service, based on good relationships and cooperation with each other, our patients and their carers.
```Duties```
- Drive a small estate vehicle or small van to deliver medicines (and occasionally retail products) from our Hampton Hill Pharmacy and Health On The Hill pharmacies to our local customers' homes in Hampton Hill, Hampton and the western edge of Teddington. Some deliveries to homes very near the pharmacy might be by walking.
- Manually plan and follow efficient driving routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload products for delivery from the vehicle and ensure proper handling
- Verify the accuracy of deliveries and obtain necessary proof of delivery
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving
- Occasionally, load products from the pharmacy and unload them at our sister pharmacy in Hampton Hill - Health On The Hill - and vice versa.
- Once or twice per week, load waste paper cardboard and plastic (for recylcing) from Health On The Hill and unload at Hampton Hill Pharmacy.
- The regular work days are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The morning shift starts at 10:00am and ends between approximately midday and 1:30pm once the morning deliveries are finished, the vehicle is parked again behind Hampton Hill Pharmacy, and delivery sheets and messages have been returned to both pharmacies. The afternoon shift starts at 3:00pm and ends between approximately 5:00pm and 6:30pm, when duties for the day are finished. Hampton Hill Pharmacy closes at 6:30pm, and that is expected to be the latest finishing time for the delivery driver.
There is another delivery driver who works regular Mondays and Tuesdays. The drivers work cooperatively, and whenever possible each works the days that their colleague takes off for planned leave and for illness.
