Delivery Driver & General Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.
You will have the opportunity to work across most areas of the garden centre, and you should be physically fit owing to the need for some heavy lifting and generally hands on nature of the role.
Applicants should have a full UK driving license, be confident driving large vehicles and be competent with DIY/maintenance.
Plant knowledge is desirable but not essential. However, a keen attitude to learn is important.
Confidence with customers is essential, and previous till experience is desirable.
Duties include:
- Working the till and dealing with customers
- Deliveries
- General maintenance [painting, repairing & building benches, spraying, pest control etc.]
- Watering
- Helping to keep the garden centre clean & tidy
Hours:
Full-time position, 08:30 - 17:30, 5 days a week [including 1 weekend day]
