Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Deliver goods to customers or clients across designated routes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Load and unload items, sometimes requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues. Assist in warehouse activities when required, including stock organisation and inventory checks.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving environments. Valid driver licence with a clean driving record. Experience with warehouse operations and heavy lifting is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS devices or maps, demonstrating good route planning skills. Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks requiring heavy lifting or prolonged periods of driving. Organised, punctual, and attentive to detail to ensure smooth delivery operations. Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
