Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of food to our customers. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate various routes efficiently.

Duties

Operate delivery vehicles, in a safe and responsible manner. Load and unload food from the vehicle, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met. Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices. Ability to lift heavy items safely, demonstrating good physical fitness. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is essential.
