We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury. Ensure accurate delivery of orders, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or issues. Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly. Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members. Organised approach to planning routes and managing schedules efficiently. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. Contract length: 1.5 month

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 37.5 per week
