Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service.

Shifts

Sunday- Thursday 5pm - 12:30am

Saturday Sunday 5pm - 1:30am

Duties

Drive company vehicles to deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe working order. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is advantageous. Ability to operate vans or larger vehicles safely and efficiently. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required for accurate record keeping. Must possess a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type used in deliveries.
