Delivery Driver
Job Description
Natures Menu, Part of Affinity Petcare S.A., are currently hiring Delivery Drivers at our Leeds Depot for our vehicles up to and including 7.5 ton (GVW).
We are a rapidly growing pet food company, bringing together Real ingredients, expertise and a passion to make a difference to the wellbeing of our customer's pets across the UK.
Working Monday to Friday, with a normal start time of between 04:00 - 07:00, ensuring the flexibility to be able to meet the demands of our customers.
Operating from our depot in Leeds, delivering to our network of customers across the region.
Previous driving experience in a similar role is essential. Good communication, numerical and literacy skills are key.
Key Tasks as a delivery driver
Operate a company vehicle in accordance with our practices and procedures, acting as an ambassador for the company and the brand.
The role entails the delivery of our frozen, ambient and freeze-dried pet food to a variety of customer types in the region.
The role requires an element of Manual Handling, Customer Service skills and the ability to operate various systems including delivery scanners.
Working to a schedule, with a good work ethic, you'll need to work to a pre-assigned route and have the ability to work accurately in a busy environment.
Key skills and experience
Candidates must have a C1 Driving Licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points
Tachograph Card with a working knowledge of the Tachograph rules and systems.
Driver CPC qualification.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
