We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Deliver goods to customers at specified locations, maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service. Collect signatures or proof of delivery as required, and handle any delivery-related documentation accurately. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, and organising stock when necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or issues that may arise.

Skills

Driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience with commercial driving vehicles, including vans or lorries. Ability to perform heavy lifting when loading or unloading goods safely. Strong organisational skills to plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules. Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and team members. Warehouse experience is advantageous for handling stock management tasks effectively.
