Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION Delivery of pet food and related goods direct to households throughout London and Home Counties, using Mercedes Sprinter 3.5ton vans. Number of drops can vary between 30 and 45 per day depending upon area.

REQUIREMENTS As the Company prides itself on its level of friendly service over the last 40 years applicants should be able to communicate well with the public and have a pleasant/friendly nature. An interest / knowledge of pets would be an advantage. You will need to be fit as there is some heavy lifting involved (including 15 kg sacks of cat litter/pet food).

Experience of driving in the London and surrounding area is required.

Duties will include some routing of deliveries, loading the van on a daily basis and ensuring that each delivery arrives at the customer's premises efficiently and professionally.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the van is presented in smart condition at all times as it is sign written and acts as advertising whilst on the road.

Hours: Start time 7am. Approximately 40 to 45 hours per week.

Honesty and reliability are essential requirements.
