We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering customers orders efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilising your driving skills and experience in logistics.
Duties
Safely operate company vehicles, deliver goods to our retail customers.
Load and unload goods, with attention to safety procedures.
Communicate clearly with the office and customers regarding delivery times and any unforeseen issues.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries.
Requirements
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a valid driver's licence.
Experience in commercial driving, demonstrating the ability for safe driving practice over long distances.
Warehouse experience is advantageous, particularly related to loading/unloading goods.
Physical ability to perform lifting when required, ensuring safety standards are met.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and customers.
