Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Deliver packages to designated locations in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is beneficial. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, as it aids in understanding logistics operations. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some deliveries may involve bulky or weighty items.
