We are a Maidstone based delivery company who have been operating for almost 25 years. We pride ourselves on delivering a fast & reliable service to all of our customers. We're currently recruiting for a same day delivery driver to join our Maidstone team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods from our customers, ensuring that all deliveries are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing friendly, professional service.

The successful candidate will be over 25, have held their licence for more than 2 years, be able to drive a manual & not have any of the following conviction codes within the last 5 years - AC, BA, CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, TT or UT and no more than 9 points on their licence.

Key Responsibilities

Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a safe and timely manner. Review delivery instructions before each trip and plan routes for efficiency. Verify delivery information, obtain signatures, and record delivery status. Handle products carefully & secure loads to prevent damage during transport. Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers where necessary. Report any delays, accidents, or issues promptly. Deliver goods UK wide including major cities, i.e. London, Cardiff, Birmingham etc.

Qualifications and Requirements

Valid manual UK driving licence and no more than 9 points. Previous experience as a delivery driver not essential as training will be provided. Good time management and organizational skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. Basic knowledge of GPS systems and mobile delivery applications.
