Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily duties. Applicant must be of clean and tidy appearance, with friendly and helpful nature. Fluent English language required

Duties

Drive a van to deliver goods to customers efficiently and safely. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Keep the vehicle Clean tidy (vehicle must be cleaned inside and out every week as a minimum requirement) & Service / Maintenance schedules up to date Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including sorting and organising inventory. Good IT literacy such the ability to use an iPhone / email & WhatsApp required for this role Hours generally are Monday to Friday 8-5 (on occasions you may be asked to commence work earlier or work later to accommodate customer requirement.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries and warehouse tasks. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members effectively. A valid driving licence is required, with a clean driving record preferred.
