Part-Time hours of 16.5 hours per week

10 am till 4 pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (Some Saturday's may be required)

Meets National Living Wage

Temporary Contract of approx 4 to 8 weeks

Job Brief

Our company is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver / Handy Man. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. There will also be Property Maintenance tasks to complete at business-related premises such as gardening and decorating. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of vehicles before departing to deliver goods

Pack and load products onto vehicles in a safe and secure manner

Deliver orders to customers in an economical manner

Maintain ongoing communication with the office

Unload goods as per client specifications

Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs

Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer

Maintain grounds and gardens of business and related properties

Assist with decorating and maintenance of business and related properties

Moving furniture and stock around site

Clean business vehicles

Assist around the store as and when needed, including dealing with customers and cleaning

Requirements

Minimum 1 year's experience as Delivery Driver

Experience of delivering furniture an advantage

Clean driving record

Strong customer service skills

Strong work ethic as this position requires labour-intensive jobs to be completed

Must possess a positive and professional attitude

Strong Health and safety competence
