We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities
Safely operate vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Deliver goods to clients or distribution centres within designated schedules
Load and unload items ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Follow health and safety protocols at all times during deliveries and loading/unloading processes
Experience
Experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience preferred but not required
Valid UK driver licence with no more than 6 points
Experience working in warehouse settings
