Job Summary:

Delivery Driver

45 hours per week Monday - Friday

1. Main Purpose

Fixmart are enjoying an exciting period of sustained growth, and are looking for an extra delivery driver to come and join our team.

You will be an integral part in the smooth and efficient delivery of our company's products to many different customers around London and the South East.

You will be the on-site face of the company and as such will need a professional work ethic and a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

2. Key Responsibilities

Deliver a wide range of products to different postal codes

Follow the planned route and meet the time schedule

Return undelivered items

Collect customer returns

Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle

Complete vehicle safety checks on a daily basis

Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Directly report to the Transport Supervisor

Report any complaints, issues or infringements as soon as they may occur

Communicate with sales for failed deliveries

Provide excellent customer service to customers

3. Skills and Experience

Valid and clean driver licence

Ability to lift heavy packages

Pass an alcohol and drug test upon request

Customer focused with drive for excellent communication

Ability to work with integrity and maintain confidentiality

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Highly organized with an excellent attention to detail

Hard working and focused

Good knowledge of geography, especially postcodes

Complete agreement and support of the company ethos and values

Team player

Previous van multi-drop delivery experience

Undertake Health & Safety training as required

Eyesight test every 2 years

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00 per year
