We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers, maintaining excellent communication throughout the process. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Deliver goods to customers at specified locations, verifying delivery details and obtaining signatures when required. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse duties such as loading stock when necessary, including heavy lifting tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving environments. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience with warehouse operations and handling heavy lifting tasks is desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality. Physical fitness to manage heavy lifting and long periods of driving. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, prioritise safety, and excel in customer service.
