Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience with driving is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Capability for heavy lifting and physical stamina to handle demanding tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Pay: 12.30-12.50 per hour
