We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the delivery process. Experience in warehouse operations and commercial driving is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled timelines. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a commercial driver is preferred. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations is advantageous. Must be organised, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work varied hours as needed to meet delivery schedules.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
