Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting cask beer, kegs & wine to various locations in the north west while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and warehouse staff.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting of goods. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a commercial vehicle is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, contributing to overall efficiency in deliveries. A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with all regulations related to driving and transporting goods.
