The role

We are one of the largest and longest established suppliers of products to the catering trade in the north of England and the south of Scotland.

Due to expansion, we are now looking for a part time Driver to join our existing team based at our Head Office in Carlisle.

As a company we pride ourselves on the service we provide and as the main point of contact for customers a polite and can do attitude is essential to help build and maintain good working relationships.

Due to the nature of the work candidates should be physically fit and willing to go that extra mile during peak season to ensure that our customers get the best service possible.

A good knowledge of Cumbria and SW Scotland is preferred but full training will be given.

You will already have experience of working in this type of role and will possess a CPC card (not essential) and a Digi Tachograph card.

The responsibilities

Loading customer orders on to delivery vehicles Delivering orders to customers as specified on delivery notes Ensuring that orders arrive at the time required by customers

Essential

Possess a Digi Tachograph card Must be able to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle (grandfather rights apply)

Hours and salary

16 hours per week, 6.00am - 2.45pm, Friday plus one other day per week to be agreed and occasional third day per week (no weekends).
