Job Description

A Delivery Driver is needed for an immediate start at Recoturbo in Leicester LE4 1AA; 22.5 hours a week, 12 month contract including a probationary period of 3 months with possible move to permanent contract after 12 months. Monday to Friday 12.30pm - 5.00pm and occasional Saturday mornings.

Location of the role:

Leicester, LE4

You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods.

Responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, you'll work alongside the warehouse team, utilising processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.

When driving duties are required, you will be provided with a modern vehicle that you will be expected to check every day for defects and drive in accordance to the law and in a courteous manner.

You will have to handle cash from time to time and complete paperwork for every delivery and collection.

As a representative of Recoturbo Ltd, we expect you to be kind, considerate, helpful and present yourself to a high standard to our customers and suppliers.

You will be responsible for any fines you incur whilst driving our vehicle, including parking, bus lane and speeding fines. You will also be expected to contribute towards the insurance excess if you have an accident that is deemed to be your fault.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 12.30pm - 5.00pm and occasional Saturday mornings, with notice.

You'll need to have:

Work Experience:

Experience of working in a team and dealing with people in a warehouse setting is preferred, along with having a full and current driving licence with no more than 3 points.
