We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving and possess excellent communication skills. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers while maintaining a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any necessary documentation.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes.
Experience
Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred.
Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required by the role.
