Humber Merchants is a well-established, independent 'Light Side' Builders, Plumbers & Engineers Merchants based in the heart of Scunthorpe since 1972. Part of a network of 5 branches all owned by the same family.
There is now a vacancy for a
Delivery Driver
who is enthusiastic to join the team at ourScunthorpe Branch.
Hours of work are 8am-5pm 5 Days a week (Monday - Friday) + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.Responsibilities:
Delivery of goods to different addresses and through different routes
Follow routes and time schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the delivery vehicle
Complete reports and customer paperwork
Follow regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence
Good communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Manual handling experience
Desirable attributes:
Proven working experience as a delivery driver
